A proposal for a beautiful trip to the highest peak of the Pieniny Mountains - Wysoka, during which we can visit three nature reserves - the unique Homole Gorge, Wysokie Skałki Reserve and Biała Woda Reserve. The entire route is full of amazing views, the wide panorama from the top of Wysoka deserves special attention. There are no difficulties on the route, but due to the numerous ascents and descents, it is quite tiring.
Trail color: green - blue - yellow
Walking time: 4 h 50 min
Highest point: Wysoka 1050 m above sea level

We start the trip in the town of Jaworki, which can be reached from Szczawnica by car or bus. The first stage of the green trail hike is a rocky road through the Homole Gorge, surrounded by high vertical rocks. There are numerous facilities along the route in the form of metal steps, bridges and railings.
After crossing the gorge, we emerge onto a slightly tiring but very scenic part of the route, leading to a large clearing. Then the path enters the forest and this is where the steepest ascent begins. At some point we reach a crossroads, from where it is only a short distance to the top, secured with railings (2 hours).
From the top of Wysoka there is a beautiful panorama with the Tatra Mountains, Pieniny Mountains and Spišská Magura. From the top we return briefly to the crossroads of the trails, where we turn right following the blue signs. The next section is extremely charming and scenic. The path leads most of the way along an exposed ridge, only occasionally entering forest sections. We can admire the changing landscape all the time. On the way we pass several hills until we reach the Rozdziela Pass (1 h 40 min). At this point we leave our ridge trail and turn left, following the yellow signs. Initially, a steep road brings us down to the Biała Woda Valley. This is another very scenic stage of the trip, which is additionally diversified by numerous rocks appearing on both sides. The route is practically walking and very pleasant. Yellow signs lead us to Jaworki, where we started the trip.
