Another proposal for an interesting and scenic trip to the Beskid Sądecki Mountains. There is a metal cross on Bryjarka, and from the top there are views of Szczawnica and the Pieniny Mountains. On the way, we pass the Bereśnik shelter, where you can also admire beautiful landscapes. The main point of the trip - Dzwonkówka - at the very top is forested, but from the clearings below the summit there are panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains and Pieniny Mountains.
Trail color: yellow
Walking time: 4 h 25 min
Highest point: Dzwonkówka 984 m above sea level
We start the trip in the center of Szczawnica, near Willa Pod Kolejką and the lower station of the PKL Palenica chairlift.Follow the yellow and blue signs along Zdrojowa Street towards Plac Dietla (10 min).At the square, we choose the yellow signs that will accompany us to the very top.The trail gently leads us to the vicinity of Bryjarka (30 min), although it does not run through the peak itself. However, you can approach it via a path. There is a metal cross at the top and we can also admire very nice views.
From the vicinity of Bryjarka, we continue the trip along the yellow trail leading through the fields and we are constantly accompanied by views of Szczawnica and the Dunajec Valley. We reach the mountain shelter near Bereśnik (30 min), from where we admire a vast panorama of the Pieniny Mountains and the Tatra Mountains. The further route to the Dzwonkówka peak is very varied, leading alternately through the forest and picturesque clearings. We reach the top of Dzwonkówka, which is forested (1 h 25 min).Return from the summit to the center of Szczawnica along the same route (descent time 1 h 50 min).
